Why Wendys?
Its a sorry state of affairs when you want to go out for a drink and a boogie and all on offer is a town fit to entertain 18 Year olds. Vodka lemonades and donk is fine when you’re young. Town has its arms opened wide to you if you don’t mind karaoke and bars rinsing Mr brightside for the 182 thousandth time. Respectfully, when you’re more so into going out to hear good music and dance than get wankered and get laid, we are stuck for options.
Wendys Yard is the change we wanted to see. A place where the older generation blend with the young. A place you wont see goons huddled for a selfie camera while they sing along to Pitbull. Good music, no ego and a place for people to really express themselves in a town where a once prevalent nightlife scene has diminished.

What can I Expect?
We do it a little different.
Instead of charging for drinks, we create a shared bar.
- Each guest brings a bottle
- It gets added behind the bar on arrival.
- Free bar for the night using the bottles guest have brought!
Its no bad vibes at Wendys Yard and queuing at the bar to pay 12 quid for a rum and coke is bad vibes.
Just bring the bottle with you and we will put it behind the bar and serve you freely.
Register for invite
We don’t want every Tom Dicky and Sally at Wendys Yard. Space can be limited so we operate on an invite only basis.
Once registered you are invited to the monthly events via Text and Email. On event day an RSVP is sent and the first people to secure their places are in.
